Philadelphia 76ers +5.5 vs. Milwaukee Bucks (+100) (1 Unit)
The 76ers may have essentially lost Ben Simmons, but it’s been better for their team as a whole. Nothing unites the people like a common enemy, and the 76ers are finally united. 7 players on their team average double digit points and as a whole they rank 1st in points per 100 possessions offensively on the season. They also are both shooting and the defending shots at a top 5 rate according to effective field goal percentage.
The Bucks are still trying to find their rhythm after last year’s impressive finals run and are off to a sluggish 4-6 start to the season. They have the potential to flip at any moment, but at this current moment they rank in the bottom half of the NBA in points per 100 possession offensively and defensively, effective field goal percentage on offense and defense, and in rebounding percentage on both sides of the floor. It’s been especially bad the last 6 games as they’re just 1-5, including losses to the Timberwolves, Wizards, and Spurs. They have no business being favored by 5.5 points on the road.
