Adrian Amos, Safety Green Bay Packers

 

Average APY: $9,000,000 Pos. Rank: 17^th

 

 

Adrian Amos was stolen away from division rival Chicago Bears with a 4 year $36 million deal in 2019. Amos is great for today’s NFL because of what a force he is in pass coverage. Last season Amos graded 2^nd overall by PFF and 1^st in coverage grade. In 2019 he had a small dip in performance but in 2018 he also was top ten in overall and pass coverage grades by PFF.

 

Bryce Callahan, Cornerback Denver Broncos

 

Average APY: $6,000,000 Pos. Rank: 30^th

 

 

Callahan is another former Bear and he has made the Broncos happy with his coverage skills. A year ago, Callahan was 3^rd in both overall grade and coverage grade. He, like Amos, also had a dip a year ago but in 2018 Callahan was 11^th in overall grade and 10^th in coverage. Having someone who can cover the slot in today’s league is huge.

 

Duane Brown, Left Tackle Seattle Seahawks

 

Average APY: $11,500,000 Pos. Rank: 16^th

 

 

Brown has been Russell Wilson’s blindside protector since 2017 and that’s no easy task as Wilson holds the ball among the longest times in the league. Duane Brown graded 6^th at the position a year ago and has been top 25 at the position each year on the Seahawks. In 2018 Brown was 8^th at the position.

 

Stefon Diggs, Wide Receiver Buffalo Bills

 

Average APY: $14,000,000 Pos. Rank: 20^th

 

 

Diggs has been a stud since his days as a Viking but last year he got to show off what he could do when featured in a passing offense. 1,535 yards and 8 touchdowns is what Diggs put up and he graded 4^th in PFF offensive grade. Diggs graded 20^th in 2018 and 2019 with a different QB and in a more run oriented offense.

 

Tom Brady, Quarterback Tampa Bay Buccaneers

 

Average APY: $25,000,000 Pos. Rank: 15^th

 

 

Of course Brady makes his way on this list. For a bargain the Bucs bought a Super Bowl and will be contending for another this year. Brady a year ago graded 3^rd overall by PFF and had 40 touchdown passes at 43 years old. It’s as simple as that.
