THE WALKING DEAD ACHERON PART 2 Recap

DANGER, DANGER SPOILER WARNING AHEAD!

From where we last saw Maggie and the gang, Negan left Maggie for dead. But seemingly being outnumbered by walkers her fate is presumed set. Negan caught up with the rest of the group in a train car, he lied saying Maggie was right behind him. But soon later they are met with banging from beneath the floor. Maggie safe back with the group. She goes right for Negan but decides not to kill him.

Going after Dog, Daryl finds himself in a separate tunnel away from the rest of the group. The tunnel once occupied by people is now filled with dead bodies and walkers. A dead man with a briefcase of money handcuffed to himself, a note a kid wrote for his parents on the back of a $100 bill.

Maggie, Negan, Gabriel, and the rest make their way through the train. Gage, who ran off earlier is stuck in another car. They try to open the door, but a horde of walkers soon are behind him. Maggie tells them to not open the door, leaving Gage to become walker food. Gage, begging for his life, decides to stab himself in the heart, making the rest watch as he is torn apart. Gage soon reanimates into a walker. Filled with guilt no one can look at him. Maggie tells everyone about when her and Hershel were starving, and she killed for food. Negan and Maggie slowly showing similarities.

Daryl comes across Roy limping away from a couple walkers, who gives Daryl what last ammo, and single grenade he has left, thinking he’s going to die.

Back with Maggie and the group they try to open the opposite door as the walkers on the other side try to get in. They get the door open, but the next door is blocked by a chair. The walkers get through. Walkers also begin to appear in the opposite car as well. Maggie gives Negan a gun to help with the other door.

Daryl, hearing the gun shots, finds the group. He kills the walkers in the other car before helping with the door. Everyone rushes through the door. Daryl shoves the grenade into a walker’s mouth before pushing it with the rest blowing them up.

They escape the subway. Negan gives Maggie back her gun. Maggie informs them of a supply hideout to head to next. As their journey continues, they come across bodies hanging on posts before being ambushed by the Reapers.

Meanwhile…back at the Commonwealth, Ezekiel has been taken. Yumiko and Princess try to come up with a plan. Yumiko, in Karen fashion, demands to speak to the ones in charge. There she uses her lawyer skills, calling them out.

Eugene and Princess wait in the hall. Princess having to pee goes to one of the stormtroopers, leaving Eugene alone. After a while Eugene asks about his friends where he is turned away.

Later that night Eugene is taken to be interviewed again where he is given two questions he must answer honestly or else. Eugene sings like a canary revealing more than he needs to. But somehow, he was honest enough to be reunited with everyone. There they are accepted into the Commonwealth community and Eugene finally meets Stephanie, the mysterious radio girl he was talking to the previous season.
